		<description>King Canute springs to mind, the build-up of the beach and consequent marshy vegetation followed by sand dune development is inevitable. Strimming is not going to stop it, I can only think of one reason for strimming and that may be to stop the spartina seeding. Would be interested to know the rationale behind it.

I think the only thing to do is to relax and enjoy watching this fascinating natural process!</description>
