Whilst we have an old lifeboat station here in Hoylake with a future that isn’t yet certain, other old stations across the country haven’t stood empty.
A recent article published in the Financial Times (read it here) highlights that old lifeboat stations are sometimes converted into private homes, wine bars, cafes, places of worship and even garages for an undertakers.
As you’ll see at the end of the article, the most recent old station to come on the market just happens to be the one in Hoylake!
