Carole Jackson organiser of Hoylake Lifeboats Annual Open Day on 27th August Bank Holiday Monday writes:
We have just announced that this year will see the World Famous Red Arrows (official website) displaying at the event.
Stalls, static displays and the usual attractions will be on the promenade, plus roll the dice for a chance to win a car!
The public are urged to use public transport as parking is limited in the area. Applications for stalls from firstname.lastname@example.org. The Promenade will be closed to traffic from 8am to 6pm and a traffic management plan will be in operation. As with any event some disruption to traffic movement is inevitable but we work hard to try and keep any disruption to a minimum, and we thank the local people for their support and apologise in advance for any inconvenience the open day may cause.
We are all looking forward to the open day,its a real team effort by all the crew and supporters and it gives us the opportunity to showcase the RNLI and gives the public the chance to go aboard the Lifeboat and meet the crew and helpers.
