The Liverpool Echo reports that Wirral Borough Council are searching for old photos of the water fountain that I blogged about the other day.
Wirral Council would like to hear from anyone who has old photos of the fountain which could help in repairing some of the finer details. It was manufactured in Glasgow and installed on the promenade in 1897 for Queen Victoria’s jubilee.
