It’s bonfire night this Thursday and I’ll be staying indoors making sure our new dog Archie (of a few months) is not scared – don’t forget to keep your cats indoors.
This years bonfire and fireworks organised by Hoylake Sailing Club takes place on Friday 6th starting at 6.15pm. You can watch from the promenade outside the sailing club. The bonfire will be out on the beach along with the fireworks.
On the Sunday the Friends of Meols Park are running a Sparks in the Park event too from 2pm.
If you need the fireworks safety code at all, you’ll find it right here.
West Kirby Sailing clubs Firework display is on Saturday 7th at 6:30. An excellent view of the display can be seen all along the promenade, get there early to get a good viewing spot.
A huge bonfire will be lit at the Sailing Club end of the Marine Lake & the Fireworks are set of from the Lake wall, a very safe distance away from the crowds.
A must see local display.
I must apologise. The West Kirby Sailing Club Fireworks show starts at 6pm not 6:30 as I already said. Sorry.
Sorry forgot to add, remember to take some loose change with you, as RNLI staff will be collecting for their very worthwhile cause on the night whilst you watch the spectacular Firework Display.
