This Friday evening (6th) saw the annual Hoylake Sailing Club bonfire on the beach. It was a rather windy evening with the odd downpour thrown in for good measure. The weather however failed to deter a large crowd who enjoyed a good fireworks display. And take a look at the photo below if you’re wondering where all the firewood comes from.
I remember being a boy, Paul, Mark, Martin & myself, the Strand Road Kids, building bonfires that bent the railings they were so fierce and furious.
