Hoylake and Meols in Bloom are proud and very excited to unveil our latest project “the seaside bed” It is between the two bowling greens in the parade gardens by the kiosk, which we open every Sunday afternoon
2pm until 4pm to help raise funds to pay for such projects.
We are thrilled with it and hope it will give pleasure for years to come.
We are delighted to welcome some junior members to our team of helpers: 14 year old Callum Hardman, 14 year oldeMegan Hardman and 13 year old Siobhan Coates who, along with Danny and the rest of the team worked so hard all day to plant this bed.
Hoylake and Meols in bloom supports The Festival of Firsts. We will have some photographs of some of our past and present projects on display and we will open the kiosk for refreshments from 10am until 4pm on Sat 9th and Sun 10th July.

It’s great to see these once beautiful gardens get some loving care after over 3 decades of municipal neglect. Congratulations to the In Bloom team, if I still lived locally I’d be down there lending a hand.
As a small boy I was always fascinated by the ‘red hot pokers’ that were a feature of the gardens. Are there any pokers in the gardens now?
