Hoylake Planning News

You can keep track of the latest Hoylake planning applications by simply following the link on the resources page. There haven’t been many applications at all this year but there’s been a couple recently that caught my eye.

First off, the Christian Science Church in Kings Gap have applied to install 6ft high security fencing and gates to the front boundary (see application) – doesn’t sound too attractive does it?

Secondly, someone has applied for permission to open a hot food takeaway in one of the new units on the site of the old Horn Arcade. None of those new units or the flats (?) above have been taken yet by the looks.

We are more worried about a 1 a.m. planning application for BAR ONE.
On Sunday night there was a real do there with fighting and injuries and Police Arrests outside stopping the traffic etc.
We are holding a Residents Public Meeting at 8 p.m on Tuesday 28th April at Melrose to discuss the Anti Social Behaviour, Planning and Licensing Issues in Hoylake.
