Wild flower meadow is a prize winner

Jan Foster writes:

We were thrilled to receive the news that we have been awarded second prize in the Pictorial Meadows (the company who supplied the seeds we used for our wild flower meadow and those at the Olympic Park) photographic competition 2012 for our wild flower meadow. We are to receive a £50.00 cheque and 10% discount off our next order and a certificate.

From the trustees of Friends of Hoylake and Meols in Bloom we wish you all a very Happy Christmas and New year

To Jan, What a lovely project. I don’t remember any flower beds as good as yours. My time was 1972-82. Are you related to Jan Foster during my time? I’m not sure if Jan is the correct first name, but she was a beautiful artist and I’ve still got my wife’s painting that she did 1986 and she had it hung in the Town Hall. Sincere wishes to all of Hoylake.
