Sand Removals On Beach

sand removal

Some workmen have been scooping up the banked-up sand over the last week as you can see above. The sand that had banked up against the promenade wall has been scooped up and has been dumped further out on the beach. As previously reported windblown sand is becoming more of a problem along the promenade.

Have you also noticed that Kings Gap end of North Parade also struggles to deal with rainwater? After yesterdays rain the top of North Parade had several large pools of rainwater that evidently hasn’t drained away. No doubt the drains are full of sand.
