Hoylake Calendar 2014

HoyCal_2014_webLocal photographer, Marianthi Lainas, has produced a Hoylake community calendar for 2014, featuring local views and some familiar faces.

The ‘Love Hoylake’ calendar is in a modern, CD format – ideal for the office or home – and costs £5.99, with a donation from sales going to The Friends of Hoylake & Meols in Bloom.

Alongside some familiar landscape images, 12 of Hoylake’s community groups, business owners, artists, musicians and residents, have revealed why they love our seaside town.

Marianthi says, “There are so many people and community groups working hard to make Hoylake a great place to live and I wanted to do my bit to promote our town. People have been buying them to send to family and friends who have moved away from Hoylake and I’ve even had an order from someone living in Alaska! ”.

The calendar is currently on sale in various shops around the village including Urbane, Hoylake Post Office, Hoylake H.E.L.P Shop, Hoylake News and The 3 Sisters. Anyone living further afield can buy online at www.openspaceimages.com/calendars.html

Hello, just a query…is it possible to buy this calendar via the post or does it have to be bought on-line ?

If it is possible does anyone know where I would send an order to ? It looks superb and a lovely reminder of my home town even though I left there in 1957 ish !!!!

    Many thanks Sheila

Hi Sheila. You can send an order directly to me and I’ll post out to you. Either email me at mlainas@openspaceimages.com or give me a call on my mobile 07788 434533. So glad you like it anyway and that it will remind you of Hoylake. … I feel very lucky to live here! All the best Marianthi

Hi Marianthi, The site does’nt tell me how to buy a calender. I’m a bit old for computors so I could be wrong. I used to own R.E.Everall Ltd. 26 Market St. I loved the 10 years I was there, 1962-72. I will send you the cash if you can send me a calendar. My address is 54 Cranston Way, S.E. Calgary, AB Canada, Sincerely Jacj.

      Hi Jack
You can buy one from the website on this page here http://www.openspaceimages.com/calendar_hoy.html and click on the ‘Add to Cart’ button. On the next screen you click on ‘Checkout’ and then on the final screen, if you don’t have a Paypal account, you can choose to pay by debit/credit card.
However, don’t worry , I’ll post one out to you anyway and we’ll sort out payment somehow! All the best .Marianthi
