St Luke’s tennis courts for sale

st-lukes-tennis-courts

Following on from achieving planning consent back in March, the trustees of St Luke’s tennis courts in Charles Road have now put the site on the market.

The asking price is offers in the region of £450,000 and the site comes with outline planning consent for 4 linked 2-storey houses and 10 self-contained apartments (8 2-bedroom and 2 1-bedroom) (three apartments to be affordable). See this post for some background information.

How soon before the site is redeveloped?

Hmmm lets say there are 6,000 people in Hoylake and 13,000 in Hoylake and Meols. To buy this in trust to make a community park and landscaped green space for example would cost about £75 per head from Hoylake residents and £35 ish per head from both towns.
