Man struck by train at Manor Road station

British Transport Police (BTP) has confirmed officers were called to Manor Road Railway station at around 6.20am today (Monday 24th April) to reports that a person had been struck by a train. BTP comment:

“Officers attended along with paramedics but sadly a man died at the scene. We are working to identify the man and inform his next of kin. The incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
