A couple of weekends ago Hoylake and Meols based artists took part in the inaugural Artists In Our Midst studio tour. Six venues displaying a range of art produced by nine local artists were open to the public, giving you the chance to meet and chat to local artists in their working environment. Local poets also provided entertainment at the preview night on the Friday evening. As a community project 20% of any proceeds were donated to two charities; the RNLI and Cruse Bereavement Care.
The events organiser Micheline Robinson says it went really well and the event will definitely take place in 2010. If you’d like to take part in next years event then get in touch with Micheline.
