BBC In Town

August 18, 2009 by John · 1 Comment

BBC at Hoylake

The BBC were in Hoylake today to help promote the digital switchover – the analogue TV signal will be switched over to digital in our region on the 4th November.

Radio Merseyside broadcast the Billy Butler show live on the promenade in the afternoon (though the music was actually broadcast from Liverpool …I had a chat with Liam from the BBC crew earlier in the day).

I’ll publish another article about the digital switchover in the next few weeks.

Great to meet with a fellow twit today. Loved the picture! Not all the music came from the main studio, the quartet played live on board the bus and the ladies sang outside it :)

keep up the great blog , they can be fabulous tools once enough people get to know about them
