Boardman Completes Marathon

Well done to one of Hoylake’s most famous sons, ex cycling ace Chris Boardman who completed the London Marathon 2009.

Swapping two wheels for two feet, Chris completed the long distance running event in a speedy time inside 3hr 20 mins (result). He was running for the National Autistic Society.

Well done to him and all the other runners.
