Coffee morning at St Hildeburghs

Visitors to St Hildeburgh’s, the Parish Church of Hoylake, never fail to be impressed by the standard of colourful flower arrangements created by the church Ladies’ Guild, especially at main festivals such as Easter, Harvest and Christmas.

The guild pays for these from its annual fund-raising coffee morning which this year will be on Saturday, June 9, from 10.30am-12noon, at the Church Centre, behind St Hildeburgh’s Church in Stanley Road, Hoylake (off The King’s Gap opposite the Green Lodge). Admission costs £1 and includes unlimited tea, coffee, squash and biscuits. Attractions include stalls selling gifts; hand-made greetings cards; toys; and homemade cakes, scones and pastries.

Issued by Peter Surridge, hon publicity officer, St Hildeburgh’s. 0151-632-5507.
