Mary Portas, Queen of Shops (a BBC programme) will be back in Market Street next Friday for the grand reopening of the revamped Fosters Grocers – a business that has been in Hoylake for 116 years.
The shop is being renamed The 3 Sisters (because it’s three sisters who run the shop) and the final filming is to take place on Friday 25th September between 3pm & 6pm. All are invited, so put your best frock on, pop along and see the revamped shop and pickup a promotional offer. You might even get yourself on telly!
As there has been some discussion about the future of Hoylake shops it’ll be interesting to watch the actual television programme and hear what Mary Portas (who has a strong background in retailing) has to say about Market Street generally.
