Sorry for the poor quality of the Friday Photo this week – I went out with my digital camera yesterday only to realise that the battery was completely flat so I had to use the camera on my mobile. Not one of my best, even by my fairly relaxed photography standards!
Anyways, what I wanted to show you all is that the workers are back at the Kings Gap Hotel and have been demolishing more of the buildings. There’s also a double-height portakabin on site now so it would seem that after a few months of inactivity things are now happening again.
I did email Sanguine Hospitality, the company behind the redevelopment, a couple of weeks ago to enquire about the status of the hotel conversion but I’ve yet to hear back.

Good to see this positive development for Hoylake steaming ahead!
Not been to Hoylake since the summer – anything to see at The Paddock site – or the Royal Hilbre as we should now call it?

Good to see this project apparently back on track, I’d long since begun to worry it was a goner. Thumbs up!
By the way, I think I may have seen you taking this shot. Were you walking a black dog at the time?
John says
Yes Stu, that sounds like me (us)!
