This is a smashing old postcard (it’s currently on ebay) capturing a moment in time at the Hoyle Road slipway.
You can’t tell if the Hoylake Parade building had been built (1909) but Hoyle Road appears to be sand hills. If only that entrance block (?) to the Parade Gardens was still there!
There’s a bit going in this photo: child at the water fountain, people chatting in the background and on the bench, man in the large fishing boat, couple of dogs about.
