The wide, flat sands off Hoylake promenade coupled with the prevailing north westerly winds make for great parakarting conditions. Pictured are a group of parakarters that were having fun back at the beginning of April. It’s a colourful view and one that I enjoy seeing when I’m down on the prom. You can read more about the sport over at the Wirral Sand Yachting Club – who have their dry land headquarters at the Community Centre.
By the way, in the foreground of my photo you’ll spot the odd patch of the unwelcome grass – I’ll try and monitor it’s growth this summer and report back with photos.
