The Parade – Hoylake Community Centre has appointed a full time Manager.
The Centre is transferring from local authority ownership and will be run by a company comprising local people.
Gill Norris from Meols has joined as Centre Development Manager with the task of steering the new company forward.
Vaughan Williams the Chairman of the Centre’s Management Committee said:
“We are thrilled to have Gill on board and are sure her experience and contacts will be invaluable. The Centre has been run by volunteers for over 20 years and it is right that as we become an independent Centre we are able to offer a truly professional service to our many users. Gill will ensure we continue to provide a great service to our community while making more people aware of the fantastic facilities we have.â€
