Hoylake Library closes (see here for ealier news) it’s doors to the public for the last time on Saturday 4 July 2009 reports Sue Taylor (New Brighton councillor). Other libraries/facilities closing the same day are Beechwood, Eastham and Woodchurch.
From Monday, 6th July Hoylake and Meols residents will have to visit the library at The Concourse in West Kirby.
I have no idea if staff are being made redundant or being transferred to other libraries.
