A road traffic accident (RTA) on Market Street has occurred days after emergency services attended to one last week near to the junction of Market Street and Trinity Road.
Last Wednesday morning there was an RTA outside Hoylake Library (shown above) that caused a traffic jam for a couple of hours. Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service reported:
Firefighters were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Market Street in Hoylake just before 7.30am on Wednesday, May 10.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called at 7.17am and crews were alerted at 7.18pm. They were on scene at 7.28am.
Two fire engines attended the incident, together with the Search and Rescue Team.
A woman was assessed at the scene by paramedics and taken to Arrowe Park Hospital for further checks.
Two men were assessed at the scene by paramedics.
Firefighters made the vehicles and area safe and remained at the scene for around 45 minutes.
A second RTA has occurred in almost the same location today, Monday 15th at lunchtime. At time of writing, details of the collision outside the old Punch Bowl pub involving a white Ford aren’t clear.
