On Saturday, February 23rd, between 10:00 and 12:00, St. Andrew’s United Reformed Church, Hoylake with Meols, will be having a pre-Fairtrade Fortnight coffee morning. Part of the reason for holding the morning is to promote some of the charities and actions that the late local author and historian Jim O’Neil felt strongly about, particularly Fairtrade.
We want as many of Jim’s friends as possible to drop by, share a cup of coffee or tea and have a chance to learn a little bit more about some of the things that Jim was passionate about.
In addition to Fairtrade, there will be stalls from several local charities including the Wirral Environment Network, WEN, and Charles Dawson Brown Museum in West Kirby.
There is no admission charge, but Fairtrade items will be on sale and donations for the tea and coffee would be gladly received.
