Scare Festival party held

Here’s someone in a rather spooky Hallowe’en costume!

The photo was taken at the children’s party held at Hoylake Community Centre and organised by Hoylake Village Life – lots more here.

I know that Hallowe’en isn’t everyones cup of tea but children generally seem to enjoy dressing up and having a go at trick or treating.

We only had a handful of callers in our road and just about all of them were young children (out with parents) who live in the road  - how about you? I haven’t heard of any unruly behaviour in the area although I did find a discarded costume in Queens Park this morning that someone had evidently set fire to last night.
