Have you seen any planes over the weekend then? As the UK continues to be affected by the flight restrictions due to the volcanic ash plume, there’s obviously been a decided lack of planes in the sky over Hoylake.
I was only thinking earlier in the week that there seemed to be more easyJets flying overhead and now there currently aren’t any. The skies haven’t been completely empty though – I’ve seen a couple of propeller powered planes flying overhead. I did read on the BBC that there have been a couple of flights from the Isle of Man so perhaps that’s where they’ve come from?
At times during the day on Saturday it did seem quieter to me without planes flying overhead – until a microlite flew past anyway!
At time of writing the flight restrictions are in place until Monday at the earliest.
Have you been affected by the disruptions to air traffic caused by the volcanic ash? Have you found it quieter without planes flying overhead? It’d be great to hear your comments.

Have you had any of the ases fall to the ground there? The picture shown on BBC World show a very fine powder with tiny paarticles in it. If the winds where blowing west we would be affected by the clouds. Soo far just clear skies and mild temps. in Windsor On.
