Hoylake has been enjoying some fine weather over the last few days – warm, dry, not too windy! I snapped the above photo on Sunday afternoon (click it for a much bigger version) when the promenade and beach were quite busy. I say busy but that’s relative – the beach on West Kirby was absolutely packed by comparison.
By the way, that is the new path and (obscured) slipway in the foreground of the photo, constructed for the new lifeboat station last year. The other new slipway leads into the sea (if the tide is in).
