The missing railings on the promenade that I reported a couple of months ago have been fixed. Shame they couldn’t (or didn’t bother to?) match the adjacent posts though. The posts need painting black now.
Like me, you may have never noticed that the railings aren’t the same all the way along North Parade – next time you go for a walk on the prom remember to take a look.

The Ship Inn has been repainted from cream to a light blue – a more nautical theme perhaps? (no photo sorry)

Workmen have been doing some repair work to the concrete path on Meols Parade. They seemed to be making some holes/cracks a bit bigger in order to be able to fill them in again.
