Friday Photo: Trinity Road when is was Church Road

Here’s a super old photo that I spotted in a facebook feed the other day.

It’s Church Road or rather it was because we now all know it today as Trinity Road. Obviously named because there used to be a church in the road – an earlier post featuring the church has received over 300 comments! Did you know that the row of houses opposite the cemetery have a name plaque of Church View?

I’ve published photos of Trinity Road quite a few times, including:

• the cemetery gates
• when there were fewer houses
• when it was icy
• when it needed sweeping
