Museum Plans For Lifeboat Station

lifeboat station sale signRumours of the old lifeboat station being sold for commercial storage purposes may be true, but the future use of the old building is far from certain.

There are still hopes to turn the empty building in to a lifeboat museum, though funding the project is an obvious issue.

    Very pleased this is being reconsidered. I’m in favour of a public use for the building – North Parade is in worthy of investment.
