Red Dinghy Towed Ashore

red dinghy

I was down on the beach this morning walking our dog Archie and I could see the lifeboat tractor out on the sands. It transpires that a couple of the team were bringing ashore this red dinghy. You’ll probably know how to reclaim it if it’s your boat.

    Hi…

Not sure if it’s from round here… I watched it on… Saturday, (I think)or was it Sunday… being washed in with the tide.

It made its way right down the beach opposite to the old station before the tide took it back out and it got beached on the sandbank right out by the waters edge. There were then a couple of the Lifeboat team who walked out and appeared to anchor it down.

Then yesterday morning they brought it back in….

It looks like its been in the water a little while..
