Remembrance Service at St John’s Meols

poppy

Come along to see the hundreds of knitted poppies made by local residents (including quite a lot made by my mum) at a Remembrance Service at St John’s Meols.

The service is at St John the Baptist Church at Meols on Friday 11th November at 10:45.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Wirral are attending at 1pm.

The church will remain open until 4pm for the exhibition of poppies, photos and music to commemorate those served in World Wars I & II.

St Paul’s Operatic Society will be singing at 2:30pm.

You will be able to place your poppy cross in the Memorial Garden.

Church will be open on Saturday for the Advent Fair from 10am to 2-30pm and Sunday for the Service at 10-30am.
