Another fantastic photo courtesy of Syd Bird. This shows the butchers (Smith & Co) that we discussed in the recent cows head photo. What a lovely building with mother and daughter stood outside …I wonder who they were?
I think that building still looks lovely today and is I gather both offices (Marcus James Accounting) and a private home. Market Street must have looked splendid many years ago!
