Vanilla Lounge, located on Market Street, is set to close its doors for the final time on Boxing Day.
The bar has been a popular venue over the years, and has remained open while many of the other bars in Hoylake have closed. The 9 Leaves lounge around the corner in Albert Road is the only new venue that has opened in Hoylake in the last 12 months or so.
It is not known if a new business will move into the building in the new year.
