If you’re a regular user of the West Kirby line you’ll probably already know this, for those that aren’t:
West Kirby line train services will start and end at Bidston station from Saturday 7 to Friday 13 March, while essential track work takes place.
A rail replacement bus service will run between West Kirkby & Birkenhead North during this time. Access to Bidston station is restricted so all passengers are advised to change between train and rail replacement buses at Birkenhead North. Birkenhead North is fully accessible for all passengers and has car parking facilities.
Rail replacement bus times and directions to rail replacement bus stops can be found in the station ticket office.
Please Note: There is no change to the normal Merseyrail train timetable between Bidston and Liverpool throughout the duration of the blockade.
Sunday 8th March – Due to additional track works the rail replacement bus will be extended to run between West Kirby and Liverpool on this day.
