Boats

That’s something you don’t often see down on Hoylake beach …a boat! No idea why this boat is sitting in the sand next to the slipway in front of the old lifeboat station – maybe it broke free from moorings and it’s been brought ashore for now?

Boards

These are the newly painted fencing boards in the perimeter wall of the Parade Gardens. What do you reckon?

Cheerful perhaps but difficult to tell from a photo, might look tacky in the flesh! A hedge trimming session would improve things no end.

Just plain varnished wood should have been used.
Natural finish instead this of “Hoylake Corporation Light Blue” that seems to invite vomit, graffiti or splattered ice-cream cones.

One word……..DISGUSTING ! Hasn’t the Council heard of wood stain ?? I can only assume this was an exercise in using up ‘left overs’ from another job????
